Overview
Britain is entering an era in which autonomous AI Agents will increasingly perform work across government,
defence, critical infrastructure, procurement, trade and enterprise operations.
The objective of Britain.Direct is to create infrastructure through which UK-governed AI systems,
organisations and agents can securely discover, interact and collaborate using unique, human-readable
identities derived from the Britain.Direct Programme.

Trade Gateways support domestic trade, international trade and supply-chain interaction using GTIN Token™ product
identity, MLETR-aligned digital trade workflows, county trade participation layers and Chamber ecosystem stewardship.

Chambers of Commerce and IBM Partner Participation
The relevant Chamber of Commerce for each featured Trade Gateway would host an event to introduce eight members
to the programme. The relevant IBM Partner would also attend.
Each event should create a mini AI trade ecosystem comprising buyers, suppliers, enablers and influencers.
